If the old waterproofing membrane is damaged on large areas, Apla recommends its complete removal and the application of a new waterproofing system with AplaBitustop membranes.
After the support surface has been thoroughly cleaned apply the AplaHydroRepairs by roller or brush on the entire surface. Because it is a super elastic bituminous emulsion, AplaHydroRepairs will cover very well the voids and cracks on the cleaned surface, having at the same time a double role of waterproofing and priming for AplaBitustop membranes to be applied subsequently, by thermal welding.
