Atlas Production Park launch
Bucharest, the 5th of July 2007 – Following an investment of over 6.5 million Euros, Atlas Corporation launches Atlas Production Park, the most modern production platform in the building materials field in Romania. The new platform includes two production units for extruded polystyrene, emulsion paints, decorative plasters, fillers, putties and adhesives.
Atlas Production Park lays on a total surface of 72.000 square meters in Tunari on the Ring Road of Bucharest. The new facility has created excellent and proper working conditions for all its employees, which are currently 80 persons.
With this additional annual production capacity of 150.000 m3 for extruded polystyrene and 50.000 tones for emulsion paints, decorative plasters and powder fillers, all developed under the APLA brand name – Atlas Professional Line Applications - Atlas Corporation will be able to achieve its total corporate turnover target of 47 million Euro.
Atlas Corporation is the only producer in the field of building materials in Romania that operates a complete national direct distribution network with branches in nine cities: Braila, Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Iasi, Pitesti, Ploiesti and Timisoara.
