Trafficable roof with ceramic panels

Trafficable roof with slabs

Industrial trafficable roof

Non-trafficable roof

In case of a classic terrace, the thermo insulation layer is positioned on the ceiling, under the waterproofing layers. Thus, the thermo insulation layer is protected and is not subject directly to weather conditions, and the waterproofing layers are thermally isolated from the rest of the construction and are exposed to large variations of temperature which may deteriorate it prematurely. In a classic terrace, the final layer may be made of slabs or ceramic tiles.
